Presidents Message (2025/2026)

As another snowmobile season comes to a close, I would like to take a moment to thank each and every volunteer for the work that you do to make each season a success. Without volunteers there would be no snowmobile trail system in our area.

It was very encouraging to see a few new members step up and dedicate some time in getting the trail put in under the guidance of the senior members. It takes a while to learn the trail signing system and our trails are consistently some of the best signed trails in our province. This alone speaks highly of our signing crew.

The snow conditions this year presented lots of challenges and I am proud to say that we were still able to get the trails up and running.

Our SnoCat gave us a few problems this year and thanks to several club members these issues were resolved.

As with every volunteer organization there are lots of people who work behind the scenes to keep the wheels in motion. The executive, directors, groomer maintenance and operators, trail signers and coordinators. As well as the members who come out to support by purchasing memberships and attending meetings. A big thank you goes to landowners who allow us to cross their property. I know this sounds like repeating myself but your help is very much appreciated and I cannot express enough thanks for what you do.

Now that the snowmobile season is over, I encourage you to help the ATV side of our club in any way possible as they continue to enhance The Randy Abdai Memorial Trail.

Dean Oxford,

President
